Job summary

Quest Software Canada Inc. seeks an experienced QA Engineer to shape AI-first quality practices across Azure-based SaaS and on-premise Windows apps. You’ll blend hands-on testing with automation, troubleshooting, and AI-assisted tools to raise test design, coverage, and release confidence.

You will work with cross-functional Agile teams to embed quality, elevate CI/CD, and document testing strategies. Hybrid options available and growth opportunities abound.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS or engineering.
• 4+ years in Software Quality Engineering or test automation within Agile teams.
• Experience owning quality across SDLC from design to release.
• Strong programming/scripting in C#, .NET, PowerShell, Python, TypeScript or similar.

Responsibilities

• Champion AI-first quality practices and leverage AI-powered tools.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks across API, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Define risk-based testing for cloud-native SaaS on Azure.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and architects to embed quality.
• Create AI-assisted testing workflows, prompts, and guardrails.
• Validate enterprise solutions integrating with Microsoft technologies.
• Improve CI/CD gates, test environments, and observability.
