Altis is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join a global software organization focused on enterprise technology, cloud solutions, and AI-powered automation. The role centers on building AI-enabled QA practices for a SaaS platform on Microsoft Azure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial software development experience required.
• Strong QA automation experience with C#/.NET and Azure cloud.
• Experience with AI coding agents and related tooling (Copilot/Claude/Windsurf) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks in C#/.NET on Azure.
• Leverage AI coding agents to accelerate testing and debugging workflows.
• Establish reusable AI prompts, validation, and responsible automation practices.
• Build and manage cloud-based test environments and virtualization.
• Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to troubleshoot defects and releases.
• Contribute to test coverage, code reviews, and QA automation improvements.

Your Responsibilities

• You'll design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and QA/QC systems using C#/.NET and Microsoft Azure.
• You'll leverage AI coding agents and platforms such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Windsurf to accelerate testing, debugging, and development workflows.
• You'll help establish reusable AI prompts, agent instructions, validation processes, and responsible automation practices.
• You'll build and manage cloud-based test environments, including virtual machines, networking configurations, and integration testing.
• You'll collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to troubleshoot defects, reproduce customer issues, and deliver high-quality software releases.
• You'll contribute to test coverage, code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvements to QA automation processes.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial software development experience, with a computer science degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong QA automation experience with C#/.NET, Microsoft Azure, mocking, integration testing, code coverage, and Windows desktop/server testing.
• Hands-on professional experience with AI coding agents and advanced proficiency in GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf, or comparable platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, virtual machines, networking, and secure test environment provisioning.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, Agile methodologies, and collaborative software development.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Assets include Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, PowerShell, Selenium, and YAML-based CI/CD pipelines.
