Job summary

Altis is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join a global software organization specializing in enterprise technology and cloud solutions. The role focuses on AI-powered automation within a SaaS platform built on Microsoft Azure, offering impact across worldwide customers.

You will design and maintain automated testing frameworks, leverage AI coding agents, and contribute to scalable QA practices in an Agile environment. Remote work with preference for East Coast alignment is available.

Qualifications

3+ years of commercial software development experience.
Strong QA automation experience with C#/.NET and Microsoft Azure.
Experience with AI coding agents and platforms like GitHub Copilot / Claude Code / Windsurf.
Knowledge of cloud architecture, virtual machines, networking, and secure test environments.
Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and QA/QC systems using C#/.NET and Azure.
Leverage AI coding agents to accelerate testing and debugging workflows.
Establish reusable AI prompts and validation processes for automation.
Build and manage cloud-based test environments including VMs and networking.
Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to investigate defects and releases.
Contribute to test coverage, code reviews, and continuous QA improvements.
