Job summary

Fortera’s Capital Projects team seeks a Project Services Manager to lead planning, cost control, forecasting, and information management for large-scale industrial facilities. You’ll build AI-enabled delivery capabilities, connecting project data across systems, and guiding forecasting, risk, and decision-support with stakeholders across engineering, procurement, construction, and startup.

You will drive an integrated controls framework, establish baselines, and deliver clear, actionable project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, Finance, Information Management, Data/CS, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of relevant experience supporting or leading large-scale capital projects.
• Proven leadership in project-services across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Experience designing, building, deploying AI agents and multi-agent workflows with governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Services across planning, cost, forecasting, information management, progress, risk, change, and reporting.
• Establish integrated project controls framework with baselines, data governance, and standards.
• Ensure integration of schedule, cost, commitments, cash flow, progress, and risk with baseline.
• Own planning/scheduling, cost control, and information management; set priorities and performance expectations.
• Own project reporting, provide visibility of status, forecasts, issues, risks, decisions, and actions.
• Provide early warning with credible forecasts and recovery plans.
• Own risk, opportunity, and change-control processes with clear accountability.
• Build and deploy AI agents, automated workflows, data integrations, and standards to improve forecasting and reporting while scaling projects.
• Establish data structure and governance for reliable AI-enabled project services.
• Identify and automate high-value project-services activities to shift to exception-based management.
• Support decisions across investment, engineering, procurement, construction, startup, handover, and closeout.
• Maintain clear Project Manager visibility of cost, schedule, commitments, interfaces, and cash needs.
