Job summary

nPlan is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer to join our client team, focusing on planning, risk analysis and complex construction schedules on major projects. You will engage with clients, drive process change, and leverage technology to improve forecasting and outcomes.

You’ll work remotely with occasional London-based client visits and opportunities to travel internationally to serve global clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in planning, risk, PMO, or project management on major construction projects.
• Client-facing transformation experience with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of large schedules (P6) and analysis.
• Proven record implementing strategic projects.
• Passion for applying technology to construction.
• Mention 'crane' in your application.
• Excellent relationship-building and customer-delight mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coach key clients to maximise value from nPlan.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and understand needs.
• Set up the product to deliver maximum value for clients.
• Manage strategic projects to embed products with clients.
• Mentor clients on advanced features (including LLM-based tools).
• Collaborate with Commercial to drive engagement, retention and expansion.
• Work with Product Managers and AI Engineers on prototyping.
• Be a domain-expert link in the LLM evaluation cycle to ensure reliable analyses.
• Possible line management of junior client engineers.
