Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Technical breadth across frontend, backend, API, data, and cloud technologies.
• Applied AI experience with LLMs, retrieval, tools, or similar patterns.
• Evaluation experience with automated testing and behavioral evaluation.
• Live-service ownership including telemetry, debugging, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Start with the user: understand real workflows with users and domain experts.
• Test assumptions quickly with concise specs, prototypes, and small releases.
• Own complete product slices spanning experience, services, data, AI behavior, and integrations.
• Shape AI behavior with instructions, context, retrieval, outputs, and tool use.
• Build the evidence system with representative tasks and automated evaluations.
• Instrument user journeys to connect adoption to system behavior and cost.
• Engineer for responsible use with data handling, permissions, and degradation planning.
• Own production quality: release incrementally and respond to incidents.
• Make practical trade-offs balancing experience, quality, speed, reliability, and cost.
• Share reusable patterns and evaluation assets with the broader platform.
