Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a results-oriented Product Owner to own the Now/Next/Later roadmap, shaping new tax-automation features and aligning delivery with business goals. You will collaborate with engineering on AI-assisted workflows, influence GTM, and ensure reliable, auditable decisions in a remote-friendly US-based role with cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product ownership, tax/domain knowledge, hands-on AI experience, and strong analytics and communication

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product ownership or product management.
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, CS, or Information Systems or equivalent.
• Hands-on AI experience with automation and measurable results.
• Ability to break complex processes into steps for automation.
• Experience taking a product from ideation to adoption and evolving requirements.
• Knowledge of AI limitations, data privacy, and when human review is needed.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or Linear.
• Comfort with data analysis using Excel and basic SQL.
• Strong communication with clients and executives.
• Decision-making to prioritize competing demands with evidence.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and Now/Next/Later roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Lead product development from concept to adoption and launch.
• Identify and automate manual tax workflows with automation and AI.
• Integrate AI with safeguards for accuracy, auditability, and data security.
• Leverage AI to develop features, user stories, and release notes.
• Manage agile delivery with backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Make data-informed decisions using analytics and KPIs.
• Champion the end-to-end client experience and defect prioritization.
• Drive product launches with GTM and market insights.
• Communicate progress and manage expectations with stakeholders.
• Deliver measurable first-year outcomes and high-priority completions.
