Job summary

Fieldguide is seeking a Lead PM for Tax Agents to design and ship an AI-driven tax platform in collaboration with engineers and top CPA firms. You will shape the product roadmap, deliver features, and drive adoption across tax provision, compliance, and review processes.

You will lead cross-functional teams, partner with customer success, sales, and marketing, and advocate a customer-centric, AI-native approach while thriving in ambiguity and high-growth environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience with deep emphasis on AI / agents.
• 3+ years of tax experience — as a tax practitioner and/or building tax products for the CPA or corporate tax market.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a track record of cross-functional collaboration.
• Comfortable with ambiguity which comes with launching new products.
• Degree in a technical, accounting, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Build enterprise-grade AI agents that increase efficiency, quality, and practitioner experience across each stage of the tax lifecycle, from data gathering and workpaper prep to compliance, provision, and review.
• Bring a fresh, AI-native mindset to solving long-standing industry challenges, while building interactively with tax practitioners at the world's largest firms and corporate tax departments.
• Be extremely customer centric. Understand customer needs, then define and ship zero-to-one features, and enhance and scale one-to-n features.
• Shape the product roadmap: work with engineering and product design to quickly define, ship, and deliver impact with new features.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including customer success, sales, and marketing to gather feedback, communicate product strategy, and drive adoption of new features.
• We are open to either remote or in-person work arrangements.
