Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an AI Procurement Domain SME (Remote, US) to join our team. The role focuses on engaging with CPOs and leaders to translate transformation priorities into AI-native procurement solutions, with a strong emphasis on value realization and KPI-driven outcomes.

The successful candidate will lead diagnostic and design through deployment, establish baselines, track realized value, and drive adoption across procurement operations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of procurement consulting, operations, transformation, technology-enabled change, or relevant industry experience.
• Deep expertise in three areas: Strategic Sourcing; Category Management; Spend Analytics; Supplier Relationship and Performance Management; Contract Lifecycle Management; P2P; Tail Spend; Supplier Risk; Procurement Analytics and Value Tracking.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and products industries (Industrial, Chemicals, Materials, CPG, High Tech, Automotive).
• Experience with enterprise procurement/ERP platforms (SAP, SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Ivalua, Jaggaer, GEP, Zycus).
• Knowledge of how AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI apply to procurement decisions and workflows.
• Experience building outcome-based business cases and tracking savings, compliance, cash, productivity, value.
• Executive presence to influence senior stakeholders and communicate across business/tech teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, proposal development, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage CPOs and leaders across procurement to understand transformation priorities.
• Lead discovery and translate business needs into AI-native solutions with ROI.
• Develop narratives, business cases, POVs, proposals, KPI frameworks, and executive presentations.
• Demonstrate how GenAI and Agentic AI improve spend visibility, savings, cycle time, and productivity.
• Define requirements, processes, rules, approvals, controls, and success criteria.
