Job summary

NYC Alliance is seeking an Process Improvement & Operations Coordinator who will work across departments, including executive leadership, planning, and operations, to design solutions and deliver AI-assisted tools that streamline business processes.

You will analyze and document processes, prototype and deploy web-based applications using AI tools, and collaborate with internal developers to hand off solutions for production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in operations, process improvement, business analysis, or technology implementation.
• Proficient with AI tools as productivity multipliers (AI assistants, coding, prompts).
• Strong analytical skills with structured data (Excel, CSV, SQL concepts, or Python/R).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to produce specs and SOPs.
• Ability to self-direct in loosely defined projects and manage multiple workstreams.
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapid context-switching across domains.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current business processes across departments and identify gaps and opportunities for automation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from VPs to backend developers to define requirements and scope solutions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation including operating guides and SOPs.
• Monitor project progress across multiple concurrent workstreams and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Prototype, build, and iterate on AI-driven web-based business applications; collaborate with developers for deployment.
