Realtor.com® in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Senior HR Onboarding & Compliance Specialist to elevate candidate and new-hire experiences while driving background screening, adjudication, and onboarding operations.

You will oversee end-to-end screening, enforce I-9 compliance, and partner with Talent Acquisition and IT to build scalable, AI-enhanced onboarding processes that balance legal compliance with a streamlined onboarding journey.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate HR experience in People Operations, Talent Operations, or HR Shared Services.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Elevated capability to exercise independent judgment to resolve complex compliance issues.
• Deep knowledge of FCRA, EEOC guidance, local Fair Chance laws.
• Experience with ATS/HRIS and background screening platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end background check adjudication and investigations.
• Enforce I-9 compliance and E-Verify processes.
• Lead onboarding operations and drive automation with AI tooling.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, IT, HRBPs and Finance to optimize handoffs.
