Job summary

Plug is seeking a Manager, Marketplace Operations to lead and scale the end-to-end vehicle marketplace workflow. You will own daily operations across Title, Payments, Listings, Logistics, and Commercial, driving automation and AI-enabled improvements while maintaining speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency.

You will manage a player-coach team, partner with Finance, CX, Product, and PM to remove blockers, and build onboarding playbooks with AI tools embedded in workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in operations, including scaling marketplace operations at high-growth startups.
• Player-coach mindset with ability to lead from the front and do the work when needed.
• Experience running an AI-native operations team and driving automation over headcount.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Title, Payments, Listings, Logistics, and Commercial operations to ensure deals close and vehicles move on time.
• Act as escalation point for stuck deals, using data and AI to spot issues and unblock blockers.
• Coordinate handoffs between functions to keep the transaction flow seamless and automated.
• Directly manage function owners; set goals, run 1:1s, provide growth feedback.
• Step in to perform work when the team is at capacity or absent.
• Develop onboarding playbooks and SOPs with AI-integrated workflows.
