Chase is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and troubleshoot complex solutions in a large corporate environment. Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 3+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with Java.
• Hands-on experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools with ability to evaluate AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, data sensitivity, and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies including CI/CD, resiliency, and security.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine to build solutions or break down technical problems.
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
• Leverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
• Applies knowledge of tools within the SDLC toolchain, including enterprise AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve value from automation.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met by code.
• Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations from large data sets to improve software and systems.
• Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
