Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development in Java (Java 17+ preferred)
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and evaluating AI output
• Experience building event-driven, distributed systems with messaging (Kafka)
• Strong SDLC practices: CI/CD, testing, and code quality tooling
• Excellent communication across distributed teams

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate high-availability, multi-region, cloud-native services with observability built in
• Develop event-driven architectures and optimized data paths for high-throughput trade lifecycle management
• Collaborate with engineers and domain experts to modernize processes and drive AI integration
• Lead lifecycle of software components from requirements to release in an Agile SDLC
