Job summary

Vercel is seeking an IT Operations Engineer for our New York City office, responsible for day-to-day IT support, hardware and software issue resolution, and ensuring the office runs smoothly.

The role requires AI fluency, strong macOS, networking, and security skills, plus a proactive, collaborative mindset. You will collaborate with Workplace Services and People to enable productive teams and ensure excellent employee experience.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in IT support or related field.
• Experience in startups or tech environments preferred.
• AI tools used as part of daily work and problem solving.
• Strong macOS, networking, and security knowledge.
• Ability to explain technical issues in plain language and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for in-office IT issues and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
• Use AI tools to triage requests, draft docs, and automate tasks.
• Manage IT ticketing system and prioritize requests with clear communication.
• Assist with user accounts, access controls, and onboarding workflows.
• Support in-office AV and conference room tech and event setups.
• Collaborate on IT projects, rollouts, and process improvements.
• Work with Onboarding to procure equipment and set up accounts.
• Create and maintain clear IT documentation.
