Job summary

Altana, the network for trusted trade, is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to join our Brooklyn-based IT team. You will be the escalation point for complex service-desk tickets, owning the hardest problems and shaping IT decisions with security partnership.

You will manage Windows and Mac fleets, deploy via MDM, and drive AI-driven automation to improve service quality across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/DS or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of real-world IT support in a fast-paced environment with 250+ end users.
• Hands-on depth across MDM, identity and SSO, core networking, and macOS/Windows admin.
• Track record of owning and delivering projects with major organizational impact.
• Clear, patient communication and white-glove customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 IT engineering support and escalate complex tickets from the service desk.
• Maintain and evolve the service desk and service catalog to scale with growth.
• Own the full lifecycle of Windows and Mac fleets via MDM (Iru/Intune/Jamf).
• Collaborate with Security to harden systems and manage access controls.
• Scale IT through AI and automation, document resolutions and inventory.
