Job summary

National Life Group is seeking a Director of Investment Data & Analytics to oversee the end‑to‑end data ecosystem, from inputs in the investment accounting system to the data warehouse and reporting outputs. You will ensure data integrity, governance and aligned business-IT collaboration to support ALM, capital reporting, and regulatory needs.

The role requires 7–10+ years in investment data management within insurance, strong SQL, AI, and ETL skills, and the ability to translate business needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Science or related quantitative field.
• 7–10+ years of experience in investment data management, investment operations, or investment accounting, in insurance.
• Strong background in AI, with demonstrated ability to use AI to drive efficiency and solve business problems.
• Proven ability to translate between investment professionals, accountants, and IT engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own data quality standards, governance and lifecycle from source to reporting outputs.
• Define requirements and prioritize enhancements for the investment data warehouse.
• Lead data lineage documentation and reconciliations across systems.
• Coordinate with IT and investment teams on vendor feeds and ETL design.
• Support quarter‑end and year‑end close with governed data sets.
