National Life Group seeks a Manager of Operational Analytics to lead a team turning data into actionable insights for Service and Operations leadership. You will guide dashboards, forecasting and self-service analytics while advancing AI-enabled practices and maintaining strong business relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and eight or more years of related experience; an advanced degree and five or more years of related experience; or twelve or more years of total post-secondary education and related work experience.
• Experience in operational analytics, business intelligence, data analytics, decision support, or related discipline.
• Proven success leading, coaching, and developing employees.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights, recommendations, and leadership-ready communications.
• Experience managing competing priorities and allocating resources by business value, urgency, effort, risk, and strategic alignment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data-analysis, business-intelligence, or data-visualization tools.
• Knowledge of data sources, database structures, data-quality concepts, and data-validation practices.
• Strong analytical reasoning, communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use approved AI-enabled tools responsibly and maintain accountability for quality and integrity of work products.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of analytics professionals, setting expectations and supporting growth.
• Partner with Service and Operations leaders to frame analytical questions and recommendations.
• Guide dashboards, reporting, forecasting tools, investigations, and self-service solutions.
• Move beyond reporting by identifying trends and developing actionable recommendations.
• Own intake and prioritization of analytics requests, balancing immediate needs with longer-term initiatives.
• Establish standards for analytical quality, data validation, documentation, and interpretation.
• Identify opportunities to simplify work, automate recurring activities, and apply AI-enabled tools responsibly.
• Communicate priorities, findings, tradeoffs, and recommendations to technical, operational, and leadership audiences.
• Apply sound judgment to complex challenges and set priorities aligned with broader objectives.
• Create an inclusive, collaborative team environment grounded in our values and Servant Leadership Tenets.
• All other duties as assigned.
