In this role, you will translate business needs, role expectations, and performance gaps into learner-friendly content that ensures people build skills and perform more effectively in their roles. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on building custom content, adapting off-the-shelf content, and creating scenario and simulation-based experiences grounded in the realities of the work.

You will partner with business leaders, frontline managers, HR, and subject matter experts to build and deliver practical, scalable, and digitally enabled learning solutions. You will own complex work, including building custom content and scenario-based learning experiences, from needs analysis and storyboarding through development, launch, and continuous improvement using sound instructional design practices, modern development tools, and AI-enabled capabilities where appropriate.

The Team

You will join the Skills Development & Learning Technology (SDLT) team, part of Operations Shared Services & Enablement. The team builds skills, learning experiences, tools, and performance support that help Operations teams work more effectively. We partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, program owners, learning technology partners, and learning systems and metrics roles to design, deploy, track, and improve learning solutions. The team is collaborative, practical, and focused on building impactful learning experiences that support operational capability and business priorities.

  • Create and customize learning content and aligning off-the-shelf materials to develop operationally relevant examples, practice activities, and scenarios that build skills and drive behavior change.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality learning assets using Articulate Rise, Storyline and other learning authoring tools to deliver engaging, effective learning experiences.

  • Apply instructional design and adult learning principles to create practical, learner-centered solutions that support skill development and performance improvement.

  • Leverage AI-enabled tools throughout the design and development process to support analysis, content creation, and scenario development while maintaining quality and instructional rigor.

  • Use learner feedback and evaluation data to continuously improve learning content and learner experiences.

  • Contribute to team success by creating reusable assets, templates, and design standards that improve quality, consistency, and speed to delivery.

The Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma

  • 3+ years of experience designing and building interactive, scenario-based learning content.

  • 1+ years of experience using modern authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, or similar development tools.

  • 1+ years of experience developing SCORM or xAPI-based learning content or embedded, push/workflow-based learning solutions using sound instructional designmethodologies

The Ideal Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Instructional Systems Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.

  • Certification in instructional design, workflow-based learning, or learning measurement.

  • Demonstrated ability to improve learning solutions through feedback and data.

  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.

  • Experience designing learning for financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries.

  • Experience using AI-assisted authoring tools, modern learning platforms, and learning data to improve design and scalability.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating learner-centered design, practical application, and business relevance.
