OpenGov is seeking a Sr. Director, HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic partner to leadership, shaping people priorities that help the business scale while strengthening culture.

You will counsel executives on complex HR matters and translate business goals into people strategy in a fast-changing environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including advising senior/executive leadership.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations including employee relations, compensation, leave management, and employment law.
• Exceptional judgment and communication skills for difficult conversations.
• Excellent priority setting and project management with adaptability to shifting needs.
• Experience using AI-native tools to accelerate workflows.
• Experience scaling HR in high-growth environments.
• Proficiency with HRIS and performance systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner to leaders, helping achieve business results while strengthening team performance and culture.
• Develop and drive HR programs across performance management, compensation, development, and succession planning.
• Coach leaders to build strong performance management and address issues directly.
• Lead organizational design, change management, and acquisition integration work.
• Champion an AI-native culture within the HR team and across the business.
