Job summary

WorldStrides is seeking an HR Product Engineer to identify high-leverage HR problems, prototype AI-assisted solutions, and partner with IT to deploy and support in production. This hybrid role sits with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, People Ops, and L&D to create value in job architecture, compensation bands, and smarter HR workflows.

You will design and ship front‑end and back‑end capabilities, connect to HRIS/ATS/Dataverse systems, and pilot solutions with real HR users.

Qualifications

• Strong HR domain literacy: understands HRBP, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, People Ops, or L&D.
• 3+ years in HR technology, HRIS administration, HR systems development, or builder roles with outcomes ownership.
• Demonstrated full-stack build ability: front-end to back-end integration.
• Evidence of discovery work with HR stakeholders; state outcomes explicitly.
• AI-assisted development fluency: familiarity with AI tooling in development.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS/HCM platforms (ADP, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM or equivalent).
• Technical proficiency in data analysis, system configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain tradeoffs to HR leaders and data models to engineers.
• Bias toward shipping; prioritize working prototypes in HRBP contexts.

Responsibilities

• Discovery: Embed with HR to identify unmet needs and opportunities.
• Build: Design and implement front-end and back-end HR proof-of-concept features; AI-assisted development.
• Deploy: Collaborate with IT for security, governance, and production readiness; maintain ownership post-launch.
• Feed the System: Surface patterns for the HR tech roadmap; distinguish concept vs. commitment.
