Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Meetings & Events to spearhead a scalable, global M&E program. You will lead sourcing for agencies, hotels, DMCs, and event tech, shaping governance and self-service capabilities across regions.

You’ll partner with travel, procurement, legal, and finance teams to deliver measurable savings and improved supplier performance while advancing a data-driven, automated approach to meetings and events.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in meetings & events, strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, program management, or related disciplines.
• Significant experience sourcing meetings and events and negotiating with agencies, hotels and venues, production partners, DMCs, and other event suppliers.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex RFPs, negotiations, supplier selections, and contracts.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience with spend analysis, savings methodologies, and supplier economics.
• Experience developing preferred supplier strategies and supplier performance programs.
• Demonstrated ability to build scalable programs and lead complex cross-functional initiatives across multiple regions and business functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global M&E program roadmap.
• Establish scalable processes, governance, service tiers, sourcing thresholds, and decision frameworks across the M&E lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize how meetings and events are sourced across regions and business functions.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that advance the future-state M&E operating model, including playbooks, tools, and self-service capabilities.
• Drive adoption of new processes and ways of working through stakeholder engagement and change management.
• Partner with M&E leadership, Operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to establish clear roles, responsibilities, and handoffs across strategic sourcing, program governance, and event planning and execution.
