Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Scaled Engagement Manager to drive day-to-day execution of its global Meetings at Events program. You will own meeting operations, venue logistics, and contractor coordination, ensuring consistent, scalable event delivery across regions.

You will lead data-driven reporting, enablement content, and playbook development, partnering with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Event Tech to optimize workflows and ROI. Travel to events is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of meeting, event, or program coordination experience in a B2B enterprise software company.
• Experience coordinating event logistics, meeting space, vendors, and/or budgets.
• Hands-on configuration experience with tools like Jifflenow and RainFocus; able to manage meeting requests and go-live.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills; comfortable navigating data exports.
• Experience using Google Sheets/Excel for data management, visualization, and reconciliation.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and timelines under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to author enablement materials and playbooks.
• Self-starter who executes independently and resolves issues in fast-moving events.
• Metrics-driven with a track record of improving workflows and program execution.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and Asana is a plus.
• Travel required for events.

Responsibilities

• Own meeting operations and event execution from intake to real-time changes for Account Team-Led meetings.
• Oversee venue logistics, space planning, signage, attendee tracking, and coordination with Marketing on food & beverage.
• Direct operations contractors supporting meeting tools, setup, go-live execution, QA, scheduling, and venue logistics.
• Provide on-site support at events globally, managing room flow, check-in, executive routing, scheduler coverage, and real-time conflicts.
• Step in to cover additional events alongside Program Lead and contractors as volumes require.
