Job summary

autumn is building an AI-native hotel OS and seeks a founding full-stack engineer to own features end-to-end. You’ll work directly with the founders to shape architecture from problem to shipped results, using TypeScript across backend, frontend, and AI components.

We value fast delivery, ownership, and pragmatic decisions at startup speed, with strong preference for those who thrive in ambiguity and want growth into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent rigorous CS background.
• 2–4 years building and owning full-stack web apps end to end.
• Prior startup or founding engineer experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Ship across the full codebase: backend, frontend, integrations, and AI systems.
• Architect and scale the platform as we expand into the full hotel operating system.
• Help set the standards for reliability, security, observability, and engineering quality.
• TypeScript across the entire stack.
• Work with NestJS, PostgreSQL, TypeORM; React and Next.js; Tailwind CSS.
• Engage with AI: Anthropic and OpenAI models via APIs; ElevenLabs voice.
