Job summary

The Nuclear Company is seeking a Financial Analyst, FP&A Systems & Automation, to own data, systems, and automation powering planning, forecasting, and reporting. You will connect NetSuite and NOS into the FP&A data layer and build the connective infrastructure to scale the FP&A team.

This foundational role focuses on applying AI/automation to finance workflows, defining data structures, and delivering scalable, auditable processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data or Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 0-3+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, financial systems, or analytics, ideally in a high-growth/startup env.
• Strong FP&A fundamentals: budgeting, forecasting, and three-statement logic.
• Advanced Excel and at least one of SQL, Python, or BI tool (Power BI); able to connect data across systems.
• Familiarity with NetSuite, UKG, Carta, Primavera P6; comfortable with data models and APIs.
• Genuine fluency with AI tools and automating workflows.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to own ambiguous, build-from-scratch problems in a fast-paced env.

Responsibilities

• Own the FP&A data architecture across the company's systems of record and NOS data layer.
• Maintain feeds into NOS and enforce data governance and hygiene.
• Build pipelines and a single source of truth for actuals, plan, and driver data.
• Design and maintain the FP&A toolchain and BI dashboards and reporting package.
• Build cost tracking for NOS and tech spend; collaborate with Engineering and Accounting.
• Own budgeting and forecasting infrastructure with driver-based inputs and model integration.
• Identify, pilot, deploy AI and automation across FP&A workflows.
• Document FP&A processes, templates, and standards.
