Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Finance & Strategy (FP&A) Systems Engineer to join our Finance Systems team. You will build and maintain platforms that support planning, forecasting and analytics, working with Pigment, Anaplan and BigQuery, and integrating them with ERP and data warehouses.

You’ll collaborate with Corporate Finance & Strategy stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, maintain data integrity, and drive improvements in our financial systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of FP&A systems experience focusing on planning, forecasting and analysis.
• Hands-on experience administering/evolving enterprise planning platforms (Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning or similar).
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills, with experience building integrations and data pipelines.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and system designs.
• Solid understanding of FP&A processes, financial reporting and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary administrator for Pigment FP&A platform, maintaining health and performance.
• Manage Finance applications, data, user access & security, and configurations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end users.
• Design, build and maintain Pigment-based models/workflows to support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Develop secure dataflows and integrations linking FP&A platforms with ERP/data warehouse systems.
• Create SQL-based data models, ETL pipelines and BI infrastructure to support close, forecasting and BI.
• Partner with FP&A, Accounting and other Finance teams to translate problems into technical solutions using AI tools.
• Support Monthly Forecast, Annual & Long Range planning, Workforce planning, OPEX forecasting, Balance Sheet & Cash flow forecasting.
• Identify and implement process improvements and participate in testing and training.
• Ensure data integrity and assist with data migration/transformations.
