Job summary

Busuu, part of the Chegg family, seeks an experienced FP&A professional to lead financial operations, applying AI to accelerate workflows and own key financial models. You will focus on financial reporting, month-end close support, cash flow forecasting, and data architecture across FP&A and accounting interfaces.

You will design, implement, and continuously enhance FP&A models, dashboards, and variance analysis to empower strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 5+ years FP&A or financial operations experience.
• Interest in AI and automation; experience applying Claude or similar tools.
• Advanced Excel skills for complex financial models.
• Experience with financial planning systems (NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, or similar).
• Strong understanding of month-end close processes, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Ability to influence and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• AI workflow optimization for FP&A operations: identify and design AI-powered automation opportunities across FP&A workflows and model building.
• Financial data architecture for FP&A: lead design and implementation of FP&A data workflows and KPI dashboards.
• Financial planning and analysis reporting liaison: ensure FP&A deliverables align with accounting schedules.
• Management accounting model development and maintenance: design and maintain FP&A models including P&L analysis and revenue bridge.
• Cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis: develop rolling cash flow forecast and liquidity planning.
• Month-end close support from FP&A: own FP&A inputs to close with timely revenue analysis and variance investigations.
• Ad-hoc financial analysis and business case support: scenario modeling and ROI analysis.
