Job summary

CHG Healthcare is seeking a data-driven FP&A Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team. You will build models, forecast, and deliver insights from large data sets using SQL and AI-assisted tools.

You will partner with business leaders to explain drivers and risks, automate reporting, and shape an analytics-led finance function for future growth. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in data-focused roles, a finance or quantitative degree, and strong Excel/SQL skills, plus familiarity

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel proficiency, including financial modeling.
• Experience querying and working with large data sets to extract and analyze information.
• Familiarity with FP&A or BI tools such as OneStream, Power BI, or Tableau.
• SQL, Python, or R experience for advanced data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with statistical or econometric modeling (regression, forecasting models Monte Carlo, hypothesis testing).
• Uses AI tools actively to improve speed and quality of analytical work.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models that support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis for assigned business units.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting for assigned business units.
• Act as a consultative financial partner to business leaders—helping them understand key drivers, anticipate risks, and make data-backed decisions.
• Query and work with large financial data sets to extract data and surface insights using SQL and data systems.
• Identify and contribute to the automation of recurring reporting and analytical workflows, building tools for faster, independent access to financial data.
• Bring quantitative and data science fundamentals to build smarter, automated analytical workflows, and explore AI-enhanced processes.
