Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) in New York/Buffalo seeks an application developer to join the Fixed Income Analytics Application Development team. You will design and build fixed income analytics applications used by front office for trading and investment decisions, integrating AI-assisted development tools.

You will enhance the Structuring Tool for securitized products, maintain a modern codebase, and create unit tests to ensure high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (master's or higher) in Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or Mathematics.
• Excellent programming skills in C/C++, .NET, Java or Python.
• 1–3 years financial industry experience or academic training.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants in real development work.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop fixed income analytics applications used by front office for trading and investment decisions.
• Implement and enhance the Structuring Tool for securitized products for analysis and marketing.
• Maintain and modernize the existing codebase while preserving product stability.
• Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development, testing, and code understanding.
• Collaborate with product management and client service to deliver new features and resolve issues.
• Create unit tests and integration tests to ensure software meets requirements.
• Work with Quality Engineering to ensure high quality deliverables.
