London Stock Exchange Group is looking for an application developer to join a team of Fixed Income Analytics Application Development. You will design and develop fixed income analytics applications used by front office for trading and investment decision‑making, while modernizing the Structuring Tool for securitized products.

This role emphasizes collaboration with product management and client service teams to deliver new features.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Financial Engineering, CS, Physics, Engineering or Mathematics.
• Strong programming skills in one of the listed languages (C/C++, .NET, Java, Python).
• 1–3 years of financial industry experience or academic training.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants in real development work.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop fixed income analytics applications used by front office for trading and investment decisions.
• Implement and enhance the Structuring Tool for securitized products and marketing.
• Maintain and modernize the existing codebase while preserving product stability.
• Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development, testing, and code understanding.
• Partner with product management and client service teams to deliver features.
• Create unit tests and integration tests to ensure software requirements are met.
• Work with Quality Engineering to ensure high-quality deliverables.
