London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Senior Associate application developer to join the Fixed Income Analytics Application Development team. You will build and enhance Yield Book components, including Excel Add-In, Structuring Tool and API, collaborating with cross-functional teams and using AI-assisted development tools.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality software, writing tests, and maintaining stability while expanding the product suite for front-office users.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Financial Engineering, CS, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, .NET, Java or Python.
• 1–3 years of financial industry experience or academic training.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants in real development work.
• Strong code review skills applied to AI output and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop fixed income analytics applications used by front office.
• Enhance the Structuring Tool for securitized products and marketing.
• Maintain and modernize the codebase while preserving product stability.
• Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development, testing and understanding of code.
• Collaborate with product management and client service teams to deliver new features.
• Create unit tests and integration tests to ensure requirements are met.
• Work with Quality Engineering to ensure high delivery quality.
