H&R Block seeks a technology leader to guide Spruce, a fintech/mobile banking platform, aligning engineering strategy with business priorities and customer outcomes. You will oversee multiple squads, balance priorities, and ensure secure, resilient delivery with a focus on AI-enabled software practices.

Qualifications

8+ years leading technology, software engineering, or product delivery initiatives.

Responsibilities

Own the technology strategy, delivery roadmap, and outcomes for Spruce, aligning squads with product priorities and business objectives.
Lead and coordinate priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery across multiple engineering squads, PMs, and integrations.
Provide hands-on leadership for mobile engineering practices across iOS and Android codebases, establishing architecture, release readiness, quality and observability.
