Job summary

JPMorgan Chase's Consumer & Community Banking division seeks a Senior Lead Software Engineer to push the boundaries of mobile technology. You will lead agile teams, architect secure, scalable mobile apps, and deliver trusted market-leading products across iOS and Android platforms.

You will mentor engineers, drive CI/CD and SRE practices, integrate AI-assisted tooling, and partner with UX designers to create exceptional user experiences while maintaining rigorous security and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in at least one mobile programming language.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to partners, contractors, and vendors.
• Design and build secure, production-grade mobile solutions.
• Develop iOS apps using Swift/SwiftUI/Obj-C and Android apps using Java/Kotlin.
• Review and improve code for quality and maintainability.
• Optimize performance across devices and form factors.
• Deliver complex front-end implementations for large-scale mobile apps.
• Partner with UX/design teams to prototype and implement features.
• Drive Agile practices and support SRE practices for delivery excellence.
• Promote AI-assisted engineering practices with measurable standards.
• Adopt and validate AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
