Job summary

HubSpot is seeking an exceptional finance transformation leader to shape the Finance organization by defining what to build, buy, or automate. You will lead a ~20-person team and drive a multi-year roadmap, focusing on AI, automation, analytics, and governance.

This hands-on role reports to the SVP Finance and emphasizes SOX compliance and enterprise-wide impact. You’ll build an AI-native Finance function, redesign processes end-to-end, and ensure decision-support is insightful, forward-looking,

Qualifications

Experience leading finance transformation at scale.
Hands-on AI and automation deployments in Finance.
Fluent in AI, automation, and data with governance.
Technical depth to collaborate with ML/Analytics engineers.
Strong SOX, internal controls, and public-company reporting.
Ability to lead through influence across Finance, Engineering, and Data.
Strategic thinker with executive communication and change leadership.

Responsibilities

Define the future Finance operating model and multi-year transformation roadmap.
Build an AI-native Finance function and scale high-value AI/applications.
Modernize high-volume, transactional Finance activities with governance.
Develop forward-looking insights and self-serve analytical tools.
Drive cross-functional delivery with Finance, Engineering, and external partners.
Shape the Finance Workforce of the Future and talent strategy.
