Job summary

Amazon Business Finance is seeking a Finance Manager to lead finance transformation across AB's worldwide FP&A organization. You will own strategy, drive automation, build scalable data infrastructure, and deploy AI-assisted analytics to accelerate insights and decision-making.

The role is hands-on and cross-functional, partnering with FP&A, controllership, planning, and business partners to deliver end-to-end transformations across 11+ countries and multiple segments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a finance-related field.
• 5+ years in tax, finance, or a related analytical role.
• MBA or CPA is preferred.
• 6+ years identifying and leading opportunities to automate and standardize finance processes.
• Experience with SQL for data mining and business intelligence.
• Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, Python, Power Query).

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for finance process transformation across AB FP&A, delivering automation initiatives.
• Design and build scalable data infrastructure for accurate, fast financial reporting.
• Lead development of AI-assisted analytical capabilities for finance teams.
• Standardize close, reporting, and planning processes across AB’s global footprint.
• Partner with finance teams to identify bottlenecks and measure time savings.
• Build quality assurance to improve controllership and reduce defects in outputs.
• Develop reusable frameworks and documentation to scale transformations.
• Communicate progress and strategic recommendations to Senior Finance Leadership.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to align infrastructure investments.
