Job summary

Medtronic is seeking an AI & Digital Finance Transformation Engineer in Fridley, Minnesota, to design, develop, and deploy digital finance solutions that leverage cloud data platforms, analytics, automation, and AI technologies.

You will collaborate with Finance, IT, Data Engineering, and business stakeholders to build data products, reporting solutions, and intelligent workflows that improve financial operations and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in finance systems, data analytics, IT, accounting, or finance tech solutions.
• Experience with AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, and automation.
• Experience with cloud-based data and analytics platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation, analytics, reporting, or automation development.
• Experience supporting financial reporting, planning, forecasting, or finance operations in a corporate environment.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive finance transformation by delivering AI-powered analytics, reporting, and automation solutions that improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline finance processes using Generative AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, and agent-based workflows.
• Build and support data pipelines, semantic models, dashboards, and reporting solutions using Databricks, Snowflake, PowerBI, and related technologies.
• Translate complex finance and business requirements into sustainable technology solutions that enable growth and scalability.
• Ensure reliability of finance data and automation platforms through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous optimization.
• Strengthen data governance, security, and controls while promoting adoption of digital finance tools and best practices.
