Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Finance Forward Deployed Engineer to join our Finance Analytics and Transformation team. This role blends Finance, Data, Analytics, Automation and AI to design, deploy, and scale solutions that improve Finance decision-making.

The successful candidate will partner with FP&A, Sales Finance, and other Finance teams, build rapid prototypes, develop data pipelines and dashboards, and apply GenAI to automate workflows in a global enterprise context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of related experience.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with complex enterprise datasets.
• Experience with visualization platforms (Power BI/Tableau).
• Experience building data models, data pipelines, and analytics dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Partner with FP&A and Finance teams to understand processes and needs.
• Design rapid prototypes and analytics apps to address high-value problems.
• Develop data pipelines and dashboards for scalable Finance analytics.
• Apply Generative AI and automation to finance workflows.
