Medtronic in the United States is seeking a Finance Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join our Finance Analytics and Transformation team. This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Data, Analytics, Automation, and AI, building rapid prototypes and scalable solutions that improve forecasting, planning, and management reporting.

You will embed with FP&A and Finance colleagues, transform ambiguous problems into working data products, and partner with IT and enterprise teams to productionize

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years in Finance, analytics, data engineering, BI, automation, or related fields.
• Strong SQL and experience with complex enterprise datasets.
• Experience with BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Embed with FP&A and Finance teams to understand processes and analytics needs.
• Design rapid prototypes and data products to address high-value Finance problems.
• Build and deploy AI-enabled solutions and automated workflows.
• Develop data pipelines, dashboards, and decision-support tools.
