Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an experienced AI Architect/Lead for Finance Transformation in Columbus, OH. You will lead AI solution development, bridge client and technical teams, and drive design from concept to deployment across large enterprises.

The role emphasizes translating business needs into robust AI design, guiding multi-disciplinary teams, and contributing to BD efforts. Travel ~50% may be required; immigration sponsorship may be limited.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of software development experience using Python or similar languages.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Proven track record taking production-grade AI solutions from concept to launch.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Experience building data pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures.
• Experience with Python & SQL to develop analytics, ML, data engineering, or automation on AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Experience architecting generative/agentic AI across infra, model, and app layers; familiarity with NVIDIA/AWS/GCP/Azure stack and GPT-4o/Claude/Llama apps.
• Experience with finance data use cases (planning, budgeting, forecasting, close, profitability, cost allocations).
• Ability to travel ~50% and willingness for limited immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI solution development and deployment, managing client relationships and ensuring quality and outcomes.
• Serve as a techno-functional bridge between client stakeholders and delivery teams to clarify requirements.
• Lead engagements or workstreams identifying, designing, and implementing AI-enabled solutions for large enterprises.
• Partner with developers to translate requirements into build specifications and provide guidance through development and deployment.
• Translate business needs into AI design requirements aligned to business value.
• Engage clients to identify issues and high-impact AI use cases; shape hypotheses and solution design.
• Perform assessments using quantitative/qualitative methods to inform architecture and design decisions.
• Define scope, objectives, requirements, and delivery plans; manage architecture planning through execution and post-implementation review.
• Contribute to business development by supporting proposals, RFPs, and mentoring teams.
