Job summary

The Pennant Group is seeking a Product Builder who owns a complete feature from design through released code. You will direct AI coding agents, design architecture and contracts, and ensure correctness, security, and long-term maintainability across an applications platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience building and shipping production software.
• Ability to design a system including data modeling, API design, and defining contracts between components.
• Strong code review skills with judgment to identify correctness, security, and maintainability problems in code you did not write.
• Familiarity with automated testing strategy: what to test, where the seams are, and what adequate coverage looks like.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control workflows, and secure development practices including static analysis and dependency scanning.
• Ability to decompose a feature into incremental, independently reviewable slices.
• Clear written and verbal communication with non-engineering partners including Product, Design, and clinical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own feature architecture, system design, contracts, and data models from inception through release.
• Direct AI coding agents to implement design and ensure correct, secure, and maintainable code.
• Review and refine program design, seams, and dependencies before implementation begins.
• Manage multi-repository collaboration and incremental pull requests linked to tracked issues.
• Orchestrate AI agent tasks, evaluate outputs for correctness, and update orchestration flow as needed.
• Oversee pull request quality, CI/CD checks, unit tests, and security and SAST scans.
• Ensure release readiness with Partner teams and leadership.
