Job summary

Rippling is seeking a Design Lead for Data Cloud to own how customers explore, analyze, and act on operational data across Rippling. You will turn data events into queryable, visual, governed experiences built with LLMs and AI-assisted tooling.

You will collaborate with PMs, engineers, and other designers to define problems, explore solutions, and ship user-centered experiences that influence customer behavior. This role emphasizes collaboration, exploration, and measured outcomes.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of high-impact products from concept through launch, esp. analytics or data surfaces.
• Comfort with data language concepts like schemas and semantic layers.
• Active use of LLMs in design workflows (research, requirements, exploration).
• Experience with AI-assisted prototyping tools.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Data Cloud experience from reports to warehouse integrations.
• Translate plain-language questions into validated, data-grounded answers.
• Create visualizations, filtering, and schema explorers for complex data.
• Design for business users and data teams with parity to warehouses.
• Leverage LLMs to clarify problems and test designs before production.
• Prototype AI-assisted data flows and validate with real interactions.
• Share patterns and AI workflows across design teams.
