Job summary

Rippling in Seattle, US is seeking a Lead Product Designer for the AI Platform to shape enterprise AI experiences across the product suite. You will define patterns, workflows, and interaction models that are trustworthy and scalable.

You will lead cross‑functional design initiatives, collaborate with PMs, engineers, and executives, and mentor designers to raise the craft of AI-enabled products at Rippling.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of product design experience across SaaS or enterprise products.
• Recent hands-on experience shipping AI products or AI-powered features.
• Exceptional systems thinking across architectures, data flows, permissions, dependencies, and edge cases.
• Proven track record leading high-impact cross-product initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the design vision for AI Platform experiences across Rippling, shaping concepts, interaction patterns, and principles.
• Create reusable frameworks for AI interactions, agentic workflows, automation, human-in-the-loop review, transparency, trust, permissions, and control.
• Lead large, ambiguous, cross-product design initiatives with multiple dependencies across product, engineering, data, infrastructure, design, and GTM teams.
• Partner with AI Platform PMs, engineering managers, product engineers, and design leaders to translate complex capabilities into intuitive UX.
• Work hands-on with individual pods while aligning patterns across the broader AI Platform roadmap and adjacent product areas.
• Translate emerging AI behaviors and platform constraints into practical product patterns adopted across teams.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes, frameworks, narratives, and artifacts to align executives and de-risk bets.
