Job summary

Rippling is seeking a design lead for Data Cloud to shape how customers discover, analyze, and act on operational data. You will collaborate with PMs, engineers, and other designers to turn data into queryable, visualized, and governed experiences that customers trust.

The role emphasizes working with LLMs to clarify problems, generate requirements, and refine designs before production, using AI-assisted prototyping tools to validate data flows with real interactions.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of high-impact products delivered from concept through launch, ideally analytics/BI or data-heavy surfaces.
• Comfort with data concepts: schemas, joins, aggregations, semantic layers, warehouses.
• Active use of LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) in design workflow.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end Data Cloud experience from reports and dashboards to semantic models and warehouse integrations.
• Translate plain-language questions into validated data-driven answers grounded in Rippling's data graph.
• Create visualizations, filters, drill-downs, and permissions to make complex data approachable for business users and data teams.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and other designers to define problems and ship user-centric experiences.
• Prototype with AI-assisted tools to explore data flows and validate designs with real interactions.
