Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Technical Staff-Platform Architect on its Engineering Technologist Team in Round Rock, Texas. You will participate in developing next-generation AI infrastructure, including accelerated compute, AI Fabric, and AI-optimized storage, engaging with high-profile AI customers to optimize solutions for their applications and tune systems for peak performance.

Qualifications

Ability to drive architectural trade-offs and select models for customer outcomes.
Plan and document AI solution building and implementation for business needs.
Experience with Enterprise cluster deployments and AI workflows for training and inference.
Strong understanding of computer architecture including CPUs, accelerators, networking and storage.

Responsibilities

Drive AI software and hardware designs based on customer requirements for datacenter scale.
Optimize configurations for performance and efficiency of datacenter components.
Collaborate with external partners to create differentiated solutions for Enterprise datacenters.
Engage with partners and customers to drive innovation at workload, platform and data center levels.
Contribute to strategic forums and generate Intellectual Property including invention disclosures.
Maintain multi-year roadmaps and align with Dell business objectives.
