Job summary

Dell Technologies in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Technical Staff-Platform Architect to drive AI infrastructure design and platform-level architecture. You will work across AI workloads, compute, storage and networking to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

You will lead investigations into new technologies, collaborate with partners to craft differentiated architectures, and help shape roadmaps and IP. This role requires travel and deep expertise in AI systems and datacenter engineering.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to drive model selection and advise in architectural trade-offs against customer outcomes.
• Experience with AI workflows for training and inference across compute, network and storage.
• Deep knowledge of CPUs, accelerators, networking, storage and benchmarking methodologies.
• Experience deploying Enterprise clusters and optimizing AI workloads.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI software/hardware designs based on customer requirements.
• Optimize configurations to maximize datacenter performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with external partners to create differentiated AI solutions and architectures.
• Engage customers to drive innovation at workload, platform and datacenter levels and shape future products.
• Participate in internal and industry forums and contribute to IP including invention disclosures.
• Maintain roadmaps and conduct technology reviews aligned with company objectives.
