Job summary

Zendesk is hiring a hands-on CRM Platform Tech Lead to own the technical delivery for the CRM engineering squad, turning complex requirements into scalable solutions and delivering on sprint commitments.

You will mentor engineers, champion an AI-first approach, and collaborate with Product Managers, RevOps, and analysts to align technical decisions with business aims while benefiting from Zendesk's hybrid work model.

Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on CRM platform experience (e.g., Salesforce) with at least 3+ years as a technical lead.
Expert-level skills in Apex, LWC, SOQL, REST/SOAP APIs and complex declarative automation.
AI-first mindset and experience leveraging AI tools to boost developer productivity.
Delivery-focused with ability to balance perfect code and fast business value.
Strong mentoring and communication abilities for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Translate high-level requirements into executable technical designs for CRM solutions.
Lead sprint delivery, unblock developers, and ensure quality with CI/CD and testing standards.
Hands-on development of complex CRM features and integrations.
Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to raise engineering standards.
Collaborate daily with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and RevOps to align technical and business goals.
