Job summary

Thumbtack is seeking a Corporate FP&A Manager to own the consolidated view of the company’s P&L, including the forecast and annual plan, with direct access to the CFO. You will help replace manual FP&A processes with AI-assisted workflows and drive analytics for strategic decisions.

You will lead budgeting, monthly closes, and reporting, partnering with cross-functional finance teams and presenting to senior leadership and the Board.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting with corporate finance experience.
• Demonstrated experience applying AI tools to finance workflows and judgement on where they help or not.
• Track record of building management and Board-level reporting with narrative accompanying numbers.
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Own the consolidated monthly and quarterly P&L close process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and narrative.
• Run the annual budgeting cycle end to end from bottoms-up build through executive review.
• Build management and Board-level reporting, including Board decks and quarterly outlooks.
• Apply AI and workflow automation to core FP&A processes to replace manual work.
• Collaborate across Business Finance, Strategic Finance, Accounting, and Business Analytics to maintain a single numbers view.
• Lead ad hoc analyses and scenario modeling for the CFO and leadership team.
• Partner with Revenue Forecasting and serve as backup on revenue and funnel forecast.
