Job summary

Telnyx is seeking a hands-on FP&A leader to reinvent planning with AI agents, APIs, and automated tooling. You will own the forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning, partnering with Accounting, BI, and senior leadership to drive strategic decisions.

This role emphasizes building new financial models from scratch, driving scenario analysis, and turning messy data into actionable insights to guide business choices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building or working with AI agents.
• Strong financial modeling skills with practical forecasting.
• Familiarity with automation, APIs, SQL, and Python.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship our next-generation planning, forecasting, and reporting infrastructure.
• Build and extend agents on our stack and automate FP&A workflows.
• Drive driver-based models across revenue, gross profit, headcount, expenses, and cash.
• Lead scenario planning, ROI analyses, and budgeting operations.
• Turn messy data into clear insights and executive-ready explanations.
