Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Core Test Development Engineer for the Test Solutions Engineering department in Boise, ID.

You will develop, debug and maintain test programs to deliver the DRAM portfolio to market, leveraging C++, Python and AI-enabled tools to boost productivity and problem solving. You will work across product engineering, fab and manufacturing teams to optimize test coverage, yield and quality while applying AI methods for data analysis and test optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Understanding of basic R/L/C circuit concepts, digital systems, logic gates, and CMOS transistor operation.
• Proficiency in C++ or Python; Unix/Linux familiarity; ability to analyze data and communicate technical information.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug and support test programs from new product introduction through high-volume manufacturing.
• Write test programs and support scripts in C++ and Python.
• Utilize AI and Generative AI tools to improve software development, testing and data analysis.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Fab, Manufacturing and Quality teams to deliver test solutions.
