Micron Technology in Boise invites a Process Integration Engineer Intern to contribute to advanced DRAM technology development and manufacturing. You will work hands-on with data analysis and cross-functional teams to optimize processes, improve yields, and support AI-enabled innovations.

The internship offers exposure to inline data analysis, dashboards, and engineering problem solving, with mentorship from senior engineers and real impact on production readiness and device performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Physics.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Fundamental understanding of semiconductor devices and manufacturing principles.
• Experience with statistical data analysis and interpretation of technical data sets.
• Ability to communicate findings effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support integration and optimization of semiconductor process modules across the DRAM manufacturing flow.
• Analyze electrical, inline, process, and yield data to identify performance gaps and anomalies.
• Apply statistical methods to investigate complex technical issues.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use data analytics, visualization tools, automation, and AI-assisted tech to boost efficiency.
• Support experiments and data analysis to relate process conditions to device performance.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools for engineering insights.
• Document findings and communicate results to leadership with AI-enhanced workflows.
